This is really a nice kit. I'm teaching my kids to fly with it and they are having a blast. It handles a wide range of windy conditions well. The motor is pretty powerful using a 2200 mA battery. Note the web site here doesn't inform you that you will need special glue to assemble this, but they do sell it. Get that right away and save the hassle later. The control horn that gets mounted on the elevator needs reinforcement I found. I ended up putting a small backer plate on top of the elevator and putting two small screws to sandwich it all together. They also sell little control horns for control surfaces here if you prefer those. Otherwise it fly's great! Belly landing on the grass at a park is smooth and easy. I did take the precaution to add reinforced packaging tape on the belly to strengthen it, but that's not required. (Posted on 3/16/2016)
I pondered all the gliders I could find and settled on this one. I am glad I did. It came quickly. The build was easy. Al the parts needed were included. I was not sure which prop came with it but it was a 3 blade one that works well. The plane flew great !!!. It can fly fast or just glide around very gracefully. I used the VH 3 cell 2200 battery with T connector. The only thing I had never encountered was the arming or the ESC. But one of the guys at our field had. When you want to fly you turn on the Rx with the throttle on full wide open. then plug up the battery listen to the beeps then move the throttle to full off then listen to the beeps and your set, otherwise NO throttle. I am sure most RC people will know this but for those who do not like me hope this helps. All the guys at the proclaimed this plane is a KEEPER. I agree !!! Thanks again VH for what you do. Set up was simple and it was easy to hand launch and fly. first flight was so smooth I strapped a Go Pro to it on the second flight and got some great aerial footage. (Posted on 5/28/2014)
