The 43in Acrocub J3 is scaled-up from our popular 35in Acrocub. This larger version is constructed from 12mm EPP sheet. The wing is now airfoiled for much improved handling in the wind. The fuselage and wing incorporates one carbon fiber square tube and strip.
This plane features the X-shape fuselage, which adds the scale looks and extra stiffness.
We recommend you to use 5+ channels radio system to enable the flaperons and spoilerons for even more fun and capability.

I bought this plane with much anticipation hoping it would be a more powerful and more aerobatic version of the smaller Acrocub which I also have and fly a lot. Maybe I haven't found the ideal set up yet but I'm not too impressed with it's performance. It seems heavy, I don't think it would fly well with a 2212 motor. I have the 450 size on mine and I wouldn't personally recommend going any smaller. The plane just seems to be more work to fly than fun. I realize that they are two totally different types of airplanes, but I have much more fun flying my Giles 202 or my Edge 540. If you get one and get it to fly well, please review it on the site and list your setup. I really want to like this plane but for now the jury is still out. (Posted on 7/22/2018)Quality Value Overall
