Very stable and fun Plane Review by casehatter

This is the come to plane to have fun just enough Dihedral to make her stable. She'll do all ya need and slow right down for a smooth Landing.
I only removed the plastic tubes for the the control rods and ran the rods thru the guide holes works fine..!!
I would not use less than a 32 size by Value Hobby so you'll have enough punch. the 46 is a bit much but works good if you like a rocket ship but be easy with high speed maneuvers as to much speed and side force will take her down. Build lite but not to lite for a scale engine. I'm using a 25 1100kv and 8x5 prop and had to cut back on throttle end points to lower amps but she fly's very scale and smooth but needs a bit more punch. (Posted on 9/30/2014)
Great plane - super value Review by gerry

I bought this plane to replace a 48" Stik and wanted a low wing, symmetrical wing sport plane. Plane arrived and I started the build on a Friday afternoon - I was impressed with the quality of the materials, the build and the covering. The plane went together really easily, basic model building skills required, a small amount of 2 part epoxy and some CA. I had the plane built by the evening. The only negative is the rudder/elevator control rods were a bit too stiff (a common problem I've noticed on another plane I bought) which i replaced after a quick trip to the hobby store.

I installed a 46size PowerUp electric motor and a 5 cell LiPo battery - lots of space in the fuselage. Adjusted everything and went flying the next morning. Wow......take off straight and quick, very little trim required and this plane flies great on even 1/2 throttle (which gives me about 12 mins of flight). The plane is very responsive, easy to roll and perform loops nicely. Landings are easy but the plane does not slow down easily even with no power - probably because it is so aerodynamic. Strong landing gear on a rough grass field.

I would not classify this as a beginner plane as it does require a fair amount of skill to fly and it is fast - but its a great "next plane" after graduating from a high wing trainer. (Posted on 7/24/2014)

great value, good flyer, Review by JR

I am a newbie at flying and bought this plane to transition from a high wing trainer to a sport/aerobatic plane. Because I am new I powered the it with a .32 glow engine so it would not overwhelm me. The build was straight forward although I did substitute a few control rods and connectors. The plane lifted off quickly and has plenty of speed and power even with the smaller .32 turning an 11-5 prop. The plane needed very little trimming to fly hands free. The only aerobatics I have done so far is a loop since I am still getting used to the airplane. I expect the plane to do most aerobatics easily even with the smaller motor. I like the fact that the landing gear is very sturdy since I have landed it hard a few times and also landed it in the grass a few times. Didn't hurt the plane a bit . This is a great little airplane that I enjoy flying. It is a great value and I may eventually move up to its big brother. You can't go wrong with this airplane as a sport/aerobatic trainer or just for fun flying. (Posted on 1/3/2014)
