I picked up one of these guys when they were first available. Got in assembled with a couple of issues. First off, the elevator servo was doa. I have the Dynam Me-262 and it has given me many trouble free flights in mostly stock form, so I was surprised to have a dead servo. Quick look through the spares box and I came up with a suitable replacement and replaced it. Next on to the flaps. You have to either use a separate channels for each flap, use a reversing Y harness, or do what I did, which was to turn the servo around. Next issue is getting all the wires and speed controllers stuffed into the appropriate orifices, so you can attach the wing. It can be done, but requires a deft hand. Next, none of my batteries would fit so after reading the build log on RC Groups, I did the battery hatch mod. Now my 3300 4s 60C packs fit quite well. I got to the field to maiden it and had some issues with the retracts. They do not always both initialize. One or the other will. So unplug the battery and plug it back in, sometimes several times until they both work. After that they seem to work all day. On the flying. Ground handling is very quick and to the point of being squirrelly. Expo on the rudder didn't seem to help much. The easiest way is to point it into the wind and nail the throttle. Not very scale like but effective. Now for the flying. Flies like a trainer. It has a wide speed envelope and it quick at full throttle. Loops and rolls are no problem. Took it up high and checked out the flaps, not much ballooning, and a mild stall. Set up for landing with half flaps and make a great landing. Batteries were barely warm and after a five minute flight, I put 1500-1800 mah back into the packs. Great flyer and great value for the money.
