I bought two of these motors for two scratch builds I call the Twins.Overall Quality Value
This motor is just the thing for these 21 ounce planes. I went to the
field to test three other scratch builds which still needs adjustments in the build.
So I reverted to the Twins to get more fly time. When I was prepping one
of them, I noticed the prop was out of line. I've not had any crashes with
these planes as they are my best builds. Both motors are pushers. So
apparently the shaft must have bent on one of the landings. I've ordered
replacements shafts, but was disappointed that I couldn't fly this one on that day.
But I did fly the other Twin, but it has the same motor so will probably have a
bent shaft one day. So I've ordered two extra shafts in anticipation of a failure.
This is a strong motor if you are looking for that.
And Value Hobby gave me fast turn around on my last order. (Posted on 11/16/2014)
