I used this motor on a 36" foamboard plane and it performs great. on 2S it cruises around easily, on 3S it is very fast. (Posted on 7/1/2015)

This motor is very smooth running and provides cool power thats very accurate KV rated for 6.99 its crazy good. provides plenty of power for 31in scratch build foamy. On 3S turning a 6X5 its making roughly 360G on thrust and about 320G of thrust on 2S turning a 7X4. It sips Mah, and runs very cool, On 3S 1100 Optipower packs it rocketing hover pullouts and accels vertical very quickly. Very good throttle response with a good quality ESC, theres no lag at all when coming on from zero throttle and spools up very very quick on 2S or 3S. I can not believe the price for the quality, I fly scorpion motors and Hyperion motors only however after buying one of these I will no longer put high dollar motors on small foamys and scratch builds. Wow is all I can say. Im gonna buy 4 or 5 of each of the 28 series motors from here they are that good.

I have been spending way to much on small motors for small planes putting high end power systems on cheap planes and no I understand it really makes NO sense at all as these are awesome. They may not provide the same power for the same size as the high end motors nor be as smooth or as efficient as them premium stuff but who cares when using one of these and a value ESC and servos to build small park flyers and can do so for 20 to 40 dollars it makes it all very VERY worth the few little negatives

Next build is gonna be a 29in speed wing and we are gonna see how one of these handles 4S spinning a itty bitty screw I believe we will get 85+MPH out of it if they can handle 4S. Trust me this is a unbelievable deal for a awesome motor. (Posted on 9/30/2014)
Miniquad? Review by donnyb

Absolutely! I was a little skeptical at first, but decided to get a mini quad frame. And installed these motors. It worked!! I managed to try several battery's looking at the results and I'm pretty happy. I think building a quad that can use 6-7 inch props would be a little more efficient. As for my quad it sounds like a infestation of huge mosquitos. Actually it's terrifying and fun. I would say the quality and the value of these little gems Is superb. Thank you for so many options. You have to use lock tite on the set screws or the motor will come loose and twist up the wires thus ruining the motor. My fault twice. (Posted on 8/13/2014)
Good motor Review by Glenn

I've had this motor about 5 months now, and it has given me good service. It has survived 4 different foam planes, two deltas and a Blue Baby fan fold. It survived two "lawn dart" crashes on the Blue Baby, the last of which the plane itsself did not survive-the fuselage broke in two after the wings folded (my fault for not building the wings strong enough). The shaft still turns true-can't ask for more than that after what I have put it through. (Posted on 3/28/2013)
