maided my f9f today after receiving it yesterday. took about three hours to complete. also using the dsms 6 ch rx from value hobby. they both work great. flew from a bungee launcher right up and straight ahead needed little trim at all. a 2200 3 s lipo 30-c is what i use. fits right in. the balance is right on keeping the battery pushed foward as far as it will go.great little jet i must say. it rolls ,but drops the nose somewhat [ expected] and falls out at the top of a loop [expected too. speed about 55- 60 mph. nice glide to land also. skids accross the grass nice. a very good start to a 85 mph jet with a don's 4800 kv motor and a 40 amp esc. you can't beat the price believe me there are df's for twice the money that don't fly this good. i can't account for hand launching. take your chances. i use a bungee on this and my stryker and that's why there still in one piece. get one or build one like i did. you'll love it...................RON
