Ok so here is my basic review of the FlySky FS-GT3C 2.4GHz Digital Surface Radio System car/boat radio, like many have said this is a great radio for the cost and it is true. I have the Traxxas 4x4 stamped that I put the radio in , the Traxxas brand ESC does not have any or much in ways to program things like brake hardness to soft braking. There is no manual that comes with the radio this you get on line. I bought the radio at value hobbies. I wanted a radio that had more models memory and this radio has 10 model memory, I also liked the rechargeable 800 mah battery pack, I bought an extra receiver for future truck I may get, there is an ABS setting in the radio that works just like in a full size car that I was hoping would help out with the hard braking that the Traxxas brand ESC is known for, I set this up and it did help but not as good as I wanted, I can still do a front flip if I brake to hard, other than that the radio is easy to program and bind new RXs to, there is some videos on the net that I looked at for good info. Awesome! Can't beat it for the price...
I have 2 already from Value Hobby, now I just wish they would get the green ones in stock so I can have every available color! We have 3 Losi Micro Desert trucks that run these radios. They are also used on various other vehicles, and I have zero complaints after doing the firmware upgrades. I can take 1/10 scale truck over an 1/8 of a mile to the end of my street with no problem, and that's with the antenna wire just laying inside the vehicle!

The Radio was very nice a bit top heavy but no problem
The RX was bad but sent it back and there sending me a new sometimes things like this happen
It has great rang it goes till I can’t see my RC any more so no problems there
Love the battery included with it as well no more AA’s
Now the best part I looked for months and I should have just went right to Value Hobby as no one and I do mean no one even came close to the price there offering this at
I’ve been buying from them now for a little over a year and have had nothing but the best of luck and they offer great products for a very reasonable price

Can't beat this radio! It's far better than anything I have ever owned! Has better range than the Traxxis radios.
After adding the USB port you can easily upload different firmware that will fully unlock this radios potential! (Posted on 2/12/2014)
this is a great radio but it does not have reverse and the programming does not always save. these things are minor tho because the range of the radio is amazing and the screen is good. i used it as an upgrade for my traxxas radio system and it is a lot nicer but the wheel is a lot smaller so i took the foam off my traxxas radio and put it over the foam on this one.
all in all it is a good radio
and the receiver is about 1/2 the size of a traxxas one (Posted on 10/31/2013)
