Proper Hand Launch Procedure for Moray

Because of the Moray's incredible power, special care needs to be taken when hand launching it. The recommended motion is to launch underhanded in a near vertical position. The Moray will go straight up from the launch. The normal horizontal launch is more difficult control because of the Moray's rolling tendencies.

Insane Speed, supurb construction quality Review by JS

I will be honest I was afraid to fly this plane at first but as long as you take the time to set your CG properly and make sure your control surfaces are level you should have no problem flying this rocket. I highly recommend underhand launching this plane at near full throttle at almost but not quite vertical. It will torque roll slightly at launch so in my opinion overhand launch leaves to little time for correction before your in the ground.

Remember to double check your control surface throws are in the proper direction! Although I was able to land her with the aileron servo throws reversed it was a stupid mistake on my part.

After getting it trimmed properly and opening it up on a few passes all I can say is this plane is ridiculous in the best possible way. (Posted on 5/28/2014)
