Good second plane, Huge fun factor. Review by Aaron

After two larger electric gliders, I chose this is as my first "Powered" plane. I wanted a scale plane that I could learn with and grow into and the vintage look was a huge plus for me too.

I flew it on elev / rudder full rates with the ailerons 1/2 rate for my preference. I selected the 30C 2200ma batteries and was 8 min. plus flights. The 30C 2200's required me to remove a part of the floor of the cockpit. It seemed predictable in the air and also easy to see. I often pushed myself with the plane as it will still do more than I can in the air. The results of this was a nasty vertical crash after about 25 flights, but was able to repair it and it flew good as ever for another 25 flights.

The downside in my opinion is the smaller diameter main gear wire. If using the stock gear I recommend leaving the screws at the top / rear of the gear plastic triangles a little loose to allow the plastic to move instead of cracking there. I removed my stock wheels / pants an installed the 70mm foam wheels and soldered a additional 3/32" music wire support to the rear main gear (Traditonal model gear). It would handle the grass fine then.

I flew the plane in more of a "Scale" way or what felt like it to me... but it will do more if you're into that.
A great all around, capable sport plane with vintage looks at a decent price. (Posted on 7/12/2015)
Excellent buy, excellent flier.Smooth baby. Review by Robert

It goes together easily, servo trays in wing didn't hold stock servos well and had to silicone into trays, other than that it flies well at all throttle settings,it is not under powered but I installed a more powerfull motor and dig/metal servos after initial flights. Its capable of any type of flying from slownez to full bore aerobatics, it really moves out w the g-force 2835lc 450 class motor, with a 2200 mah battery I'm getting 9 minute flights + or - a minute ie throttle management.Balance was right on also, with all that wing its very smooth...Now with a dual mode gyro this plane can handle 20+ mph winds and stay under good controll,I can fly on windy days that were outa the question before,it landed perfect going backwards in 20-25mph wind,i swear to it,in 3d mode it hovers well and knife edges like I'm a pro.Bottom line is this is a FANTASTIC AIRPLANE,especially for under 100$,wtf.only thing I didn't like is the overly thin controll rods for tail surfaces, you have to put extra supports half way between controll horn and where wire exits or they will bow under load, please do put supports for these thin wires. After that you can hammer it,All in all this is a perfect all-around flier, smooth and predictable, very slow stall speed, very maneuverable.,do some power upgrade and add a gyro and you have an unstoppable, fast, windy day flier also.Beautiful.Get it now, don't think about it,just do it,no regretts. I have been using mine to test receivers, and generally clown around with.i have flown it with both 1500mah 3s(5min flights) and 2200mah 3s batterys (8min).this model has a very good profile in the sky and the colors are very visible even when it is as small as a speck. there is always room to bring it with as it is small and light.
nice plane for 100 bucks! (Posted on 9/29/2014)

Plane is a very stable flyer, canopy mount was not glued properly and plane is a little under powered this might be why it got the name Space walker. The plane itself is built very well with, thick epo with carbon fiber spurs in rear horizontal stablizer and main wing. Very big in sky makes orintation easy. Would recomend as a second plane. The plane flies very much like the PZ T-28. Good power and very good slow speed performance. It is not underpowered by any means. I was surprised by the documentation of the plane. It was better than expected. It included an exploded view that would be clear to a new builder. An experience builder would need no instructions. This was my first Value Hobby purchase but not my last. (Posted on 2/25/2014)

I would compare the flight habits of this plane to the PK T-28. This is nice trainer for a novice on the buddy box but also a nice plane to drag out and fly by the experience pilot. (Posted on 2/14/2014)
