It's in a 55" Dave Patrick Cub, running on 4s with a 1550 mah 95c tattu battery. 2.5lbs all up and a hoot to fly. Unlimited vertical, couldn't be happier. As of 12-2019 prolly 100 flights and counting. (Posted on 12/18/2019)
I read another persons review of the G10 and had a I read that before I purchased the G10 I doubt I would own some now. However that's not the case. I have about 14 of the motors. They are inexpensive and do, on occasion get noisy. I have never had one fail, never replaced any bearings. I have been in the long distance FPV hobby since 1990. Yes you can buy this size and spend a 100 bucks and no doubt it will be quieter and last longer. The G10 is roughly 17 dollars delivered to your door. I use 50 amp EDC's with them and have never experienced a failure. Three or four of these motors are flown long distance 2/3 hour flights 20 times a season for years. Remember the $17 thing. At this price if I get a bad one I'll throw it in the trash and open another new one and keep flying. Your money.... buy what you like...I believe I have possibly owned one of everything available on the market...the G10 holds its own. Not the best but certainly a solid buy at $17. This motor might have more power than some eflight 10s but it wont last long trying to do it.It is low priced to others but when considering how cheap the bearings are and having to replace them often then its a bad idea to buy.its real noisey and rattles and has small lousy quality bearings and that alone makes it not worth buying.I insist you spend 10$ or more to get a quality 10 that doesn't need maintenance or bearings every 20-30 minutes of run time.Dont know what to say other than its JUNK and DONT ruin a good model by putting this waste of magnets in it.Thanks...........Bob.
