This is not going to be a long winded review but rather to the point. I purchased several of these as I wanted some budget 4s lipos for my basher. One of the best priced 4s hardcase budget lipo is the Turnigy 5000mah one but it's always out of stock. You can find some of those Turnigys on "the bay" but sellers double the price to around $50. Since I didn't want to support that greed I decided to give these a try and I'm happy I did.
Value Hobby shipping was exceptionally fast and relatively cheap, the batteries arrived at storage voltage across all cells which is fantastic. It's great not to receive a pack with dead or weak cells. I'm getting a solid 35 minutes on my slash 4x4 (battery fits great in it) that runs a 1/8 motor/esc combo. You will without a doubt notice punch loss at around 15 volts or so compared to when the battery is fully charged, but then again the battery is rated at 25c and is a budget battery. I have zero regrets buying these and would do so again. I would really like to see Value Hobby produce a 6500mah 40c-60c battery at a competitive price as I would be all over it. For those wondering, these come with a deans type connector already installed which is an added bonus to those that already use deans type connectors. I would like to add that the hardcase itself is of great quality, much, much better than on the Turnigy lipo talked about above which I would crack cases on all the time. Without a doubt not the best 4s budget lipo out there but I gotta say it's darn close for what you get out of it overall and at $45 how many other options do we have? Not many. Bravo Value Hobby!
