The motor never got above 150f in temperature, but that didn't stop it from completely eating itself alive after maybe 4 or 5 packs through it on 3s lipo. Not happy at all with the performance of this motor.
It would appear from the specs on this motor that it can handle 3s (it says max volts 11.5), but in reality a 3s lipo can actually be 12.6v at max charge. It was pretty fun while it lasted, but it didn't last very long. I'm upgrading to the 3660 can motor, we'll see how that one handles 3s. (Posted on 1/24/2014)
