I have heard nothing but good things about the Hobbywing ESCs. After trying this one as my first, I doubt I will ever pay full price for another "branded" one again--maybe for a Castle or something on a really expensive build, but certainly not for an e-flite or great planes ESC which are probably just rebranded ones anyway and cost 2-3 times as much.Value Overall Quality
I'm using this in an e-flite Cub 450, and it has performed flawlessly. (Posted on 12/21/2013) - Lost in first flght/use Review by Michael

So I purchased this at the recommendation of other club members as a low cost alternative to name brand. I used it for an E Flight Power 10 outrunner. The first flight was flawless and everything seemed ok. The second flight it went up for 10 seconds and then came crashing down with no controls. Upon further investigation the power wire had become disconnected from the ESC itself and started a small fire/burn inside the model. The pre-solder joint could still be seen on the wire which had become disconnected! (Posted on 11/5/2013)Value Overall Quality - Great ESC Review by JonR

I used to order Turnigy Plush 30A from HK. I had one of the turnigy's die one me. So I bought this as replacement since I live in the USA. Shipping was fast. This is the same ESC, I was able to use a Turnigy programming card, but I purchased the Hobbywing programming card just in case. This ESC is rock solid and fast on my tricopter.
