This Focke-Wulf FW-190D is another keeper for warbird fans. Due to its mini size, only 27in wingspan, you can exhibit it on the desk with the stand (included) as a static model. It is a PNP version, motor, servos, esc and props are pre-installed at the factory. all you need is to add your radio system (at least 4 CH) and LiPOs. 2000kv high performance motor nearly makes it a racer in the air.

This kit does not include the landing gear.

Note: Only EPS compatible glue can be used in repairs.

If you're lucky enough to survive the hand launch (at full throttle for sure and up and fast) do the following.
Stay above 80% throttle or stall on your next turn whether rudder or aileron. Fly the battery out and bring it down as gentle as you can. Will not fly slow, just falls out of the sky. I can feel the difference in weight between it and my favorite small airplane the E-flite P51D 280, which flies great fast or slow and is much faster than the FW. Of course it's about $129 to $169 depending on where you get it. But after you fly it a couple times you'll say to yourself "it was worth the price". Pretty tough and glues back together well.
I have 30 years of flying off and on and I failed to keep it in the air twice. It's more than a hand full!

I do like Value Hobby though. Have bought many planes from them. They are quick to ship and do a great job at offering alternate options to the expensive planes. Since I had hard landings with this one I didn't ask to return it. Some are good and some not so good I guess.

Unfortunately an airplane must ultimately be graded on it's flying ability right. In that category it rates a 1-star. If doesn't fly good who cares how great it looks.
