Bought these to build a 250 size Quadcopter "TANK". Yes, 2212 size motor on a 250mm multirotor. The overall weight is a lot more, probably over 1000 grams but in the air the motors work great with 3S or 4S lipo and 6x4.5 and even better thrust with 6x4.5 three blade props! Lots of thrust and power. When running 4S it's almost too much! Haven't tried fast forward flight or flips yet but was able to tune the CC3d control board just fine. Throttle at hover is about 50-55% and the craft reacts the same when I had 1806 size motors.
Ive got to tell ya that for 5.10$.. This is a fabulous deal. This little DIRTBAG motor screams well w an 8×5 prop.if it goes up in smoke thats no problem @5$.Should get 2or 3 just incase.thats still less than a brand name motor. I love these Dirtbag 5$ motors and i havent lost one yet of the 5 i have.some r the 1250kv and the 1400kv is the latest. It is perfect for my 900mm wings.the 1250s do well also. You best use a 30a esc bcuz a 20a doesnt cut it for either kv motors. For 5stinking dollars you cant go wrong. Think......what can you get for 5$ in this hobby?Just get 2 of ea of these DIRTBAG MOTORS and start screaming.♡♡♡♡☆☆☆☆☆..Bob. (Posted on 7/19/2016)
