The very thing that makes it so nice is almost it's downfall. It's inexpensive and super handy. It would be worth the cost of putting it a stronger case. Every part of it (except the circuit board and mode switch) is just hanging out in the open where it is susceptible to damage from anything banging around in your tool box. The thin Lexan case, open on each end, provides very little protection to the important bits. Even with all that said I would spring for another one in a heartbeat. Got a friend who builds or mods a lot of planes? Spring for one as a for no reason gift. Maybe he'll let you fly that new monster F4 fighter he just got. (Posted on 3/10/2018)Value Overall Quality
