Bring back the original balsa/ FG SU 26M(Posted on November 16, 2014) This is an awesome airplane . It flies like a dream . A very good sport aerobatic almost 3D. Very stable in all attitudes . I would highly recommend this plane and It is a very good value. I only wish VH had not discontinued it. I would immediately order 4 if they bring it back. I would not consider the inferior foamie Dynam version a comparable replacement. Come on VH quit pushing the foamies or we'll all be buying whats left of the hobby at Toys R Us . |

Some problems, great flyer(Posted on September 23, 2014) The packaging was marginal, but no parts were damaged. Instructions were what you come to expect from China, confusing. The plane went together easily, in spite the instructions. The balance point, per the instructions is about 1 inch from min to max, a little close. I balanced at the median. Had to add 2 oz. of lead to nose to balance. I used a 4240-1000 motor, 60Amp ESC, 10x5 APC prop, 4cell 2800mAh lipo and Spektrum ASX3 receiver. With this set up the plane flew with only a couple of clicks of up trim. Handled as good as any plane I have flown. Don't think it is a good 3D, but for sport acrobatics it is impressive. I would highly recommend it for the intermediate flyer. |

Excellent 3D plane , poor landing gear system(Posted on August 28, 2014) The Sukhoi SU-26M is an excellent 3D model aircraft. Very stable and predictable when doing rolls, loops, harriers and hovers. But does not follow straight path and predictable knife edge maneuvers. Overall this is an excellent investment for the price. Its Achilles heel is undoubtedly the landing gear: is not very resistant and easily breaks at the fuselages base any less than a perfect landing. |

Sukhoi Model air craft(Posted on August 15, 2014) Packaging very well Good quality, Built very fast Excellent flyer. It's a beautiful aircraft I can't say enough about that. I painted the inside of cowl a Silver grey color made a big difference on looks. The linkage hardware will come loose on you, I used a dubro rubber grommet to hold linkage on. The nuts will loosen up, to tight and servo's won't work to loose and nuts will fall off. It is a extremely light aircraft should do all your maneuvers very well.I set it up with a 4250 motor and a 80 amp Esc and a 4 cell 4400Ma battery. I loved this 1st flight of mine. I flown now for 30 years and it's my best aircraft of choice as of today. My friends all thought it was a nice aircraft too. This weekend will see what my club members think when I bring it out to our club field for a flying event. Looking forward to a lot more flights. Enjoy your purchase you will not be sorry. P. S. Take your time on assembly don't rush out with a half built aircraft or something that could of been caught while in your shop. Always remember pilot error will always catch up to you . A few additional looks to make sure things are right will save you a whole lot of mistakes and money besides. |

Great buy - get two(Posted on April 13, 2014) This is a good flying plane, Running 4 HS-81's (Req's Mod) but it's well worth it to me. Plane handles very well and tracks straight. Fling on a G32 (hobbyking) E-flite 60 Amp ESC, and a 4S 2200 mah battery. First flight required no trim and went straight into mild aerobatics. I would recommend this plane to anyone. I only have one complaint, the control throws are good but don't allow for all out 3D. Even with that said I'll probably order another one for back up. Maybe two! |

Awesome Plane(Posted on October 17, 2013) This is my first full fuselage, covered plane. I have approximately 15 flights so far, and I'm getting used to how it flies. I did have to add 2.25 oz. of weight to the nose. I might change the battery to a higher capacity to compensate for the added nose weight. The current setup is: Motor: Tacon Big Foot 32 770 kV ESC: HobbyWing Platinum 60A Battery: Turnigy NanoTech 35-70C 4S Prop: APC 13 x 6.5 Receiver: OrangeRX 6 channel plus satellite receiver Servos: 3x Emax ES08MD Digital Metal Gear 1x Emax ES9258 Metal Gear (Rudder) The motor draws approx. 43 amps with the current prop. (570-580 watts). I haven't tried any 3D flying yet; I've only flown mild aerobatic. Build quality is overall great. I did have a small issue with the landing gear, but that was due to too much speed over a rough taxiway (my fault). Overall, so far, this is an excellent plane. Although it seems to be a bit light in moderate wind, it flies on rails. Recommended. If interested, check out http://youtu.be/9nEMgooGDlc for a simple flight in moderate to gusty winds. |

Good plane(Posted on October 7, 2013) This is a very good plane for the money. It is well designed, looks beautiful, and is reasonably priced. The only weaknesses are inadequate instructions, mediocre covering, and a very difficult to install elevator. Overall, a good buy. |

Excellent flying model and a great value(Posted on August 28, 2013) I've got nearly 40 flights now and it's my favorite model. Running a 4250 motor w/ 3 blade prop and recommended servos. Hard to beat for the price. I just received another today for a spare and am ordering another for a friend. Good job VH! |

This is an excellent flying and attractive aerobatic sport plane(Posted on August 23, 2013) I'm using a 42-50 600 kV motor turning a MA 13x8 3-blade prop and 2200 mAh 4s lipos. 80 A ESC and 3A ubec. My landing gear mod is still rock solid after around 3 dozen flights off of grass and tarmac. Excellent flying model that has been a big hit w/ other club members. I like the realism of a scale aerobatic model. The 42-50 motor provides all the power one needs. Hovers at 1/2 throttle. Using recommended servos and TGY 9X radio keeps cost very reasonable. I'm ordering another today as a spare. My favorite model! |

Great deal(Posted on July 11, 2013) Landing gear plate came off pretty much undamaged after only a slighly hard landing. Not enough glue. Re-inforced and epoxied back together. Flies great with 4250 motor and 4s 3300. 4250 is about 6mm to long but it still fits inside cowl. Very stable airplane. For the money a very good deal for an aerobatic sport plane. if you are big into 3d you might want to want to look for something else. |
