hardware bears scrutiny(Posted on July 25, 2013) hard to go wrong with this frame for fpv, sport flying, or autonomous missions. everything fit balances well with gopro and a 3s. And hard to beat shipping cost and how quick it was delivered. You don't have to wait for the slo boat from the orient to get a good deal. Hardware is not what I like but even replacing that leaves little to be desired at this price point. |

I love the frame! fast shipping!(Posted on July 1, 2013) I would have to agree with the other reviews. GREAT frame I used to have the Tarot FY450 the booms are like plastic and end up breaking at the motors. This frame doesn't have the same problem. The landing gear helps with rough landings. I like the designated area for battery even thought screws can get in the way of the battery, also the areas for circuit boards (well protected), and its expandability. The foam is impossible to keep on the landing gear, maybe make some end stops for the carbon fiber rods to keep the foam on. I tried zip ties... The only problem I have been having is the screws don't like to stay tight on there own. Must use Loctite (or super glue) on every screw!! |

Good buy if you get better hardware. Great service from Valuehobby.(Posted on March 15, 2013) I would have to agree with the previous review. Hardware needs to be improved. 3mm screws come with an allen wrench that dosent work. And the screws that are provided are of no known size to man. But overall its a nice frame so dont be afraid to get one. Use locktie on evrything! Looking fwd to great aerial photography. Oh one more thing. If you buy the multiWii flight controle boards, make sure you buy the USB connector for it, or buy one that has one built in. You need that to program the board so you can fly it. |

98 % Good Product...Booms needs Improvement on material used.(Posted on March 13, 2013) 4 STARS -Due to the very thin aluminum booms and with inner sharp burrs. The booms are the only problem I have on this kit or I could have rated this to 5 Stars. The Glass Fiber that is used was really good and strong and the motor mounts has thicker material and that's a plus. All screws and plastic mount and screws are provided but the hex that came with it is not good ,I have to used my own with no problem. The kit was very good for the price and the shipping was the best.I was not expecting it to be that fast .Thanks for that . OVERALL : I recommend this product and most of all I recommend VALUE HOBBY. |

Great overall product, small improvements needed, fast shipping, trusted U.S. seller.(Posted on January 28, 2013) This quadcopter frame is pretty awesome for the price. It arrived at my door 37 hours after placing the online order. I am extremely happy with the customer service and promptness of Value hobby. The frame is lightweight and has a lot of space and different mounting positions for all of your electronics and different size motors. The kit came with a bunch of extra screws, nuts and other small pieces. It even came with foam pads for the landing struts. The only issue I really have with this frame is the mounting hardware is VERY POOR. I had to run out to Home Depot and buy all new 3mm screws. The screws that they give you in the pack are for a hex driver. They even give you an hex driver to tighten everything. The only problem is the hex screws were all pretty much rounded on the inside, so you couldn't even tighten them down. It wasn't a big deal and I only spent an extra $8.00 on fasteners. Overall I recommend this product and I certainly recommend Value Hobby. |
