Great Flyer w/ 21cc RCGF Twin(Posted on February 4, 2017)
Build and quality already discussed so won't repeat. I have this plane with a RCGF 21cc twin cylinder gas engine turning a 16-8 prop. This setup just looks right and it flies even better. Have had it for over a year and have lost count of the number of flights but it's a ton and no malfunctions of the airframe at all. Have worn out several tailwheels and one set of maingear wheels (I fly off a paved runway - hard on tires) . During build I reinforced the wing saddle area and I epoxy coated the firewall as well as made a belly plate out of 1/4" ply stretching from the firewall back about 10" which I bolted the landing gear to.
Many, many ton-of-bricks type landings later it's still as sturdy as day one. Program flaperons to make even better landings. Do these simple mods on initial build and you've got one tough bird that's just plain fun to fly.

Excellent value and a great ARF!(Posted on June 18, 2015)
I was quite impressed with this ARF. The plane arrived double boxed with no damage. The quality of the assembly and covering are top notch. It took me about 4 hours to completely assemble this airplane. No fitment issues were encountered, although it did take some time to get the fuselage halves glued together. I deviated from the instructions for this part. I chose to glue in the top connecting blocks first then trial fit them and one satisfied with the fit I glued the bottom one in place. I trial fit the pieces about 6-7 times to ensure gluing would go flawlessly and it paid off. Just be sure to round the ends of the blocks to aid in assembly.

I also placed a servo in the aft of the fuselage and I was pleasantly surprised to find that servo mount locations were already in place for both rudder and elevator. This fact was not mentioned in the instructions. The instructions are decent and anyone who has built an ARF or two should have no issues, but they do lack tips to aid in certain assembly steps.

I installed a Saito FA-90T twin cylinder 4 stroke engine on this plane. It is a great combination! The Stik flies like a dream and 3 point landings are the rule not the exception. This is one great flying airplane and one heck of a value for the money.

Great deal and easy to build and flies great with a DLE 20(Posted on June 3, 2015)
The guys at the 3D farm love the Easy Stik 60's. They are quick built and can handle with ease a DLE 20 strapped to the front. They are fun to fly and easy to land. Built light but strong.

great(Posted on December 15, 2014)
I have several flights on my stik now. I must say it is pretty tough. I am flying with a 20cc gas engine and it makes a perfect setup. It is not over powered. You must beef up the wing saddle. This is a weak point but very easy to beef up. I am running larger wheels (100mm). Ground handling is really good. My Telemaster was great in the air but terrible on the ground. I did not do anything to beef up the firewall it seems fine.
This plane handles so smooth in the air.

Overall a good value and a great flying plane(Posted on September 4, 2014)
The basic construction & covering are well made and sturdy. The covering was taught with only a few minor ripples. The landing gear is sturdy enough as it has survived some hard landings without damage.

It can be built for electric or glow power, with mounts for both included. Mine is electric - the electric mount is slightly rectangular, so proper orientation is required to match the T-nuts in the firewall. assembly was straight forward with a couple of exceptions.

The fuselage comes in two parts - a front part and a rear part. They are held together by hardwood pieces in each of the four corners epoxied in place. My plane did not line up properly as two of the holes did not match on two corners. Some interior sanding was required to make them match. No big deal but time consuming.

All servo mounts are for standard servos, so if smaller ones are used some mount hole modifications will be necessary. The push rods are skimpy and the connectors not the best. I replaced the aileron push-rods with 2-56 hardware. The rudder and elevator use hardened steel metric rods that fit tightly in the tubing, so replacement was not an option. The quick connector for the elevator servo was replaced with a z-bend as the supplied connectors do not hold very well under pressure.

All in all, it is well designed and with some substitutions it works well.

Mine uses a 1250 Watt, 650 Kv Out-runner with a 70 amp ESC with separate SBEC. The battery is a 5S 5.0AH unit that balances the plane without tail weights. The battery compartment is large and has room for shifting the battery. The prop is an APCE 12x6, although a 13x6.5 would provide more power

Once trimmed the plane is quite stable with no tip stalling tendencies. As powered it will climb vertically, albeit slowly. It tracks well and can do standard sport type aerobatics. It flies well at low speeds and is easy to take off and land. It is large enough to see at a distance, yet small enough to fit in my car (sedan).

The battery supplies a minimum of 15 minutes flight time at moderate speeds with occasional all-out sprints or maneuvers. In slow flight it could easily do 20 minutes.

Overall is is a good value and a great flying plane.
