I Have Used These For 5 Years Without a Single Problem(Posted on April 24, 2018) I never had one of these connectors become disconnected while in use and have never had them get warm from use. I am using these in a 50MPH Slash (mostly on street) with a Castle Creations Sidewinder 3 1406 4600Kv (21T Pinion\76T Differential Gear) and GForce Elite Series 40C 5000mAh 3S 11.1V LiPO. HINT: When soldering, always put the male & female connectors together (Keeps them in alignment if you do get them too hot) and use a water soaked rag on the opposite end from the soldering to help keep the connectors cool and always use a GOOD soldering paste. (The whiter the paste, the less impurities that it has. I use Worthington Water Soluble Lead-Free Flux (Only 2% impurities and made for home plumbing). Found in your local hardware store's plumbing dept. Great!(Posted on October 14, 2014) Great connectors, you're gonna need a good soldering iron though. Super tight fit and wont ever come loose |
