stable and tough(Posted on May 22, 2013) The suggested 1300 mah 3S is too weak for the jet. I crashed on the first flight due to balanace issues. My fault. I was able to fix the jet at the field and adjust the CG. Love the EPP. I upped to a 1800 mah 3S. More power meant more fun. The drop tanks and wheels just added drag to this already slow jet. Trash'm. I further upped to a 2200 mah 4S. this led to a acceptable speed for a jet. Underhand tosses are easily achieved. The included ESC overheated and shutdown in one minute. I put in a 60Amp ESC now this jet is good. Stock is ok w/o the tanks and LG. Use a 1800 3S though. The wing loading can handle it. I like that it is up- gradable. StephenT |
