550 Ripper(Posted on October 27, 2013) I use this motor in my 6lb truggy on 3s and it's fantastic. Wheelies on command and pulls hard. Much more power than a standard 540 motor. Loads of torque to get a 4wd truck to scream and somehow it stays quite cool. After a 4000mah 3s and geared for speeds of 45mph I get to ~150F. Properly geared for general bashing puts it around 130F. I've found this is the perfect motor for 3s and I've had it for 10 months now without any problems. Love it and recommend it! |
