amazing batteries for the price.(Posted on June 14, 2015) Thesee packs dump better then most budget 25C packs, on my polaron EX charger these discharged to 3.0v per cell (only do this on high end chargers or you will kill packs) they accept about 2450mah. Doing 15 break in cycles on the charger first 5 cycles to 3.7v per cell then 5 to 3.3v per cell then 5 to 3.0v cell after the cycling and a few flights it went from 2450mah to 4.20v per cell to 2580 mah from 3v per cell so they are deff under rated mah wise and they are light for a 2200 3s when you factor that they really are 2400 to 2500 mah packs they are really light... plus as others have said they handle more like 30c packs. Pulling 48 to 55 amps on high speed flying wings they handle it easy and come down slightly warm... they also handle hard 3d on my Trex 450 dfc as well no problems. These are amazingly good packs for the coinz if I need a 2200 and not pulling more then 55 constant I will use these... pulling more then 60 amps constant I believe will vastly shorten the life of these packs yes they handle it good but I don't think there really up to handling 60 constant but will handle 10 to 20 second bursts of 60... I have pulled 59 to 62 amps for a whole flight and the battery was very hot so I believe 50 or less and the packs will last... even when I did a flight pulling 59 to 62 the whole flight the pack was hot however it did not puff at all and I was sure it would cooled down charged it 4.4 amps (2c on a good charger these packs are safe to charge at 2.5C they handle it well) I flew it to 3.5V per cell and it took 2070mah and was ready to go... so yes they can handle 60 amps but if you want the pack to last a lot of cycles keep it under 50A and you will have awesome packs at a bargain price that you get in 2 to 3 days transit time. I'm very pleased with these packs and will use them to keep cycles off my high end packs and use the top dollar packs when I really need all out performance. |

light weight(Posted on February 19, 2015) Needed a light weight battery to balance a new sailplane without adding weight to the tail but with a 2200 rating, this battery did just that and works as good as a 2200 30c |

Really great battery for its price!(Posted on October 8, 2014) Been using these 6 months on my foam Wing and foam delta stunt planes and they are just great! Nice power to weight ratio! balances well on any balance charger. |

Great battery. (Posted on March 27, 2014) Excellent option for TREX 450. Great price, light weight, good performance. |

Revised battery design.(Posted on June 3, 2013) I was please to find these batteries with the balancing wire separate (on the other side) from the discharge wires. The last time I bought batteries from here they were on the same side and the balancing wires solder gave up after a few months. I think this is a superior design. I think the price is very reasonable given this design. I just took them to the field today and they perform very well! I am buying more right now! VH thanks for coming out with other sizes of this battery as well! |
