Solid performer(Posted on November 1, 2014)
My first use of this radio was with a simulator.
After a bit of educating myself it has performed very well!

Flying with this is so easy.
The Fly Sky has just enough features for me as a newbie RC pilot.
For the price this is well made and so far reliable.
Buying this from Value Hobby was a good move for me.

No regrets at all.
Highly recommended for the beginner!

Highly recommend as a start out. it'll remain useful well into the hobby(Posted on October 4, 2014)
This is THE radio to start out with. Unless you know you know you want a taranis or whatever, thisnis your radio. This is also the perfect radio to keep on hand for back-up or loan.

Be aware for some problems(Posted on September 27, 2013)
After using this radio for some time now, I have more details. The radio is working well in general.
The few problems I found some minor and some major.
1. The batteries door not holding, tape will do the job.
2. My radio will store only 2 models and keep them in the memory, however tried to store third model on any
of the rest of the open models, it will hold the setting until you turn off the transmitter.
Reading more about it, I learned that other people have similar issue.

20 models memory???????? for me that was important. What good are 20 model memories if the radio erases them after switching off the transmitter.
So if you need this just for one model and the memory holds, it's a great value.

no more pc programming for me(Posted on August 20, 2013)
flown my 450 heli with it for almost a month now and im happy with this radio. no more pc needed like the old t6's. mine has firmware 2.1a 1-15-2013 and so far i have NOT encountered the model memory loss others have. bound it to an 9958 no problem also. for the price, it can't be beat.

Nice Radio set(Posted on August 10, 2013)
the good stuff.. it works, easy to program, bright display,v/r knobs, uses very little power..batteries last long time, easy to bind receiver(s),excellent range and not too heavy for a full day flying !!!

the bad stuff...the battery door wont stay on without adding tape or screws , the scrollwheel needs to be bigger and more clicky on the detents , the screen cover needs to be glass... and thats it !

great radio for the price and features , highly recommend and i dont recommend often.

Why would you buy the more expensive radio systems,,,this is 10 Star(Posted on May 23, 2013)
I did hesitate to buy this radio at first, but finally ordered. The shipping was fast, and the radio and receiver are as good as any other radio I own, Futaba, Spectrum. On range check, we stopped when I could no longer make out the plane, all worked perfect. I did buy a second radio just like this one from another company, because Value Hobby was out, and I will be ordering another one, they are that good, 20 plane memory. This radio and screen are far better than my Spectrums, easy to set up, or change anything. They are shipped Mode II, but I fly Mode I, and the change was very easy, pop off the back, switch the spring, move the ratchet strap, make the internal change from the screen, and it's done....I can't say enough good things about this radio and receiver. Outstanding Performance(Posted on May 19, 2013)
Great radio, good size display and perfect size TX in your hand.
I put in rechargeable batteries, the TX comes with a charging port, and I am using an old Futaba Charger. I used it for over twelve flights so far works flawlessly. Range is good or better than most expensive radios. Need less to say I bought a second receiver.

Fly Sky CT-6 is a great buy(Posted on April 12, 2013)
This is an easy to program transmitter which gives you great value {good features at a great price} and is well worth the money. Programming is much easier than transmitters costing several times the money. Binding is quick and sure. The multi-model scroll down feature is very convenient. It costs almost the same as my DX-5 which has no multimodel memory. This transmitter comes with a lighted screen too. It needs 8 AA cell batteries however, so battery changes are costly without rechargeable cells. This is a transmitter and receiver that is full featured for the money.
