Powerful motor, excellent torque(Posted on January 31, 2014) Installed this motor into an ECX Ruckus with a Hobbywing SC10 70A ESC, and 5200mAh 30C GForce battery. Acceleration is violent, with excellent midrange and top speed. I also appreciate that there's a flat spot to secure the pinion gear... I wasn't looking forward to having to grind my own flat spot. I suppose the only negative so far is that the motor leads are quite stiff, and cannot be (easily) replaced. This doesn't impact performance at all, but it might be a factor for maintenance/ replacement. |

I like it(Posted on September 20, 2013) Well this motor i bought it and i was a little unsure but it performs really really well it does about 30 with a 2s Gearing 12p 51s a little low i wanna get a 17pp but this motor after a full hard run on the motor about 145f but your going to have to drive it really hard like thick grass full throttle all the time in about a 7 pound truggy but just bashing about 120-125... you should get it! i would buy it again! |
