Excellent hard case for the money(Posted on May 27, 2015) There were only 2 reviews on this case when I bought it and neither one described it fitting a Phantom quad so I wanted to be sure I got this review posted. Case arrived in a very well packaged box with foam protection. I was immediately surprised of the quality as soon as I pulled it out of the box. All surfaces were covered in clear protective coating as well as the handle was very protected. The handle extracts to a decent length for pulling the case and it also came with two keys to lock the case. The insert is vert sturdy hard foam and very confident the quad will be protected and will not shift around during travel. The insert is also very well made to match the exact body of my DJI Phantom 2 Vision + which includes with the props attached. The foam has 4 battery cut outs, perfect match for the transmitter and a spot that holds my charger and another thicker slot to hold my 7" monitor and spare props. The picture they show of the insert is exact. Never could bring myself to spending the money on a Pelican case and now glad I didn't since I know this case will do very well and at half the cost or more. I do a lot of traveling and occasionally have spare time so been looking for a decent travel case that will protect my investment and this case sure was a good choice. Highly recommend this for traveling or even for normal use. |
