Good flyer(Posted on October 12, 2017) This is a great airplane. I set it up with a Sunnysky 2206-1500kv motor and a 3s 600 mAh battery. Hand launch and hang on to your hat!! It is my new favorite foamy. You can't beat the value of this plane. It is a blast to fly. |

Best value EPP plane there is(Posted on July 6, 2016) Flies awesome, best price, hinges are a little weak, I had an aileron live hinge come loose a little, but I used some blenderm tape on it and its fine. I would buy another, and buddies are buying them because of me. |

Highly Recommend!(Posted on January 27, 2015) Assembly went together fairly straight forward, but I didn't know what the squilly foam was for...so I left them off. They are FUSELAGE stiffeners! Used regular CA glue and kicker. Maiden flight, aileron tore off....the live hinge was cut too thin. Some 3M Blenderm Tape (DuBro Park Flyer Tape) patched up the hinge, and I've flown the piss out of it! Great for trying out low 3D stuff, and when you dump it into the runway, pick it up, and toss it back into the air! I fly mine with 10 in APC Slo-Flyer prop on 2S....so it's not grossly overpowered, since I fly "Normal" planes too. Handles 12 mph winds, but, you have to keep the power on! I bought 4 more for spares since I'm moving to Hawaii.....so, judging by how much abuse my first one took......I should be set for foamy life! |

Best out of the four epp on Value Hobby(Posted on January 10, 2015) This is one great plane for the price, I have four of them. The roll rate on the Lazer is wild, will do all the stunts of a higher priced 3d foamy. My set up is 400kv motor 20 amp esc 1000 3s batter 10 x 5 prop emax08 metal gear 12 gram servos. Reinforced fuselage with carbon , struts for the wing and tail. Makes this plane track like a scale airplane. Made my own landing gear with carbon and debro 1 inch wheels,popsicle stick glued on for tail skid. I use this plane for combat with three in reserve if I have a mid air or beat the thing in the dirt doing 3d low to the ground, and it will take a lot of abuse. The only negative is the ailerons, elevator, and rudder after time will begin to separate the fix is hot glue them together. Awesum(Posted on November 21, 2014) Took to long to find this web site. I love the plane and you cannot beat the price. I have Twisted hobbies planes which I love but not the price , This plane is my new favorite. Love the way it goes together and flys inverted without elevator to level out , roll rate is incredible. I just wish they offered a lite version. I strongly recommend. low price lets you try more aggressive moves without freaking out over wrecking a $80 to $100 plane. if you do wreck. a little welders glue and you are as good as new. I only wish I found the site sooner. |
