I am pretty much a newbie. After buying 4 so-called trainer airplanes, I decided to try a 3D plane because they said they fly slow. I bought one and they do fly slow. That's how I learned to fly. This 540 Slick is just and absolute BLAST to fly. This thing is crazy. It's so nice to try new things without worrying about your too damned expensive plane crashing. This bad boy to VERY durable. I've crashed it many times. Pick it up, check it out, throw it up and fly some more!!! It is crazy fun to fly!!!!

Hands down the funnest airplane I own. I can't believe it at such a low price point. I am running a Hobby King 2730-1500kv motor, with 3 5gram servos, and a 9X4 prop. I purchased 2 3S 500mah g-force batteries, and a g-force 10A esc along with the kit. The kit was very well made with the builder in mind. No welders glue required with huge drying times. I built the plane slowly over the space of two evenings with no problems what so ever. The only other items I needed for the build was some foam safe thin super glue, xacto knife, screwdriver, and a lighter. I bought this to help learn 3d flying, it hovers, harriers, snaps, and waterfalls with little experience. I just can't stop smiling every time I fly it!

This is a good plane at a great price, you won't find a better deal. I like this plane as much as my Twisted Hobbies ones but cost 1/3 of the price plus you don't get charged their rip off shipping prices! Will be buying more planes from Value. Thank You

Like this plane allot. I have a large Slick so I wanted this one to practice on. Flying on 2s with the sunnysky 1900 kv 2s 500mha battery. Flies well,
only negative is you need to keep it slow for 3d flight. If you fly these fast you will get a flutter in the elevator. I thought at first it was the cheap servos I used so I changed to an expensive Hitec and still had this trouble, less so but I can still make the flutter if I fly to fast. Great little plane though.

This plane is well worth the money and recommended servos work well. This is my second VH EPP and decided to use my choice of Motor and ESC. Flies well on 2s and can handle some wind, but if you do fly in wind your flight envolope decreases. Never the less still fun.
A little tip on building> cut the vertical stab off during the build process. It makes it easier to square up the fuasge.

ANOTHER GREAT VALUE!!! The plane fly's great! This is my second Epp plane from value hobby and I'm happy with both. My set up is the 2206 1500 kv on the slick running on 2s. I will move to 3s in the near future. Theses are great little planes and help you learn 3D. You can't go wrong with your purchase of any of the 32" epp planes. Also very fast shipping!!!!
