Cheap (Posted on March 1, 2018) I have bought several of these servos. Some of them don't center very well. Not confident enough with them to use on control surfaces. Seem to be okay on my flaps and for throttle. Kinda disappointed cuz now I will have to buy more servos of a different brand to replace them. |

Dont buy it(Posted on January 18, 2018) My experience with this servos is bad. I bought two and both wouldn't center at all. They would hunt and then stop...but if you gently put pressure on the arm or re armed them they would move to a different center. Very weird behavior. Like I said, I bought tow of them and tested with two different radios and receivers. Both would move on their own between two different centers. Totally unusable. Most of the gear I've bought from VH has been good but these were dogs. I love VH but for whatever reason.....these servos were.......bad. |

Ordered five SG5010s for my Tower Hobbies KAOS 40. Installed them and none would recenter accurately. In fact, they center about 3/8" off in both directions. These servos are not acceptable for a airplanes, particularly sport flyers. I would not recommen(Posted on January 11, 2018) Based on the five SG5010s I received, I would not recommend these servos for airplanes because they will not recenter accurately. The servos I received recenter within 3/8" from center in both directions measured at the end of a 4-hole servo arm. This is not acceptable for any airplane. I would not recommend these servos to anyone. Waste of money. |

Towerpro SG5010 Standard Servo(Posted on April 27, 2015) I've been using these servos for several years and found them to be reliable and a great quality for the price. I fly only electric planes, and have used these servos on many different planes. I fly large 3D foamies, and giant scale built-up ARF's. When I need a full size servo, these are my first choice. I've ordered several planes and parts from Value Hobby and have NO issues. |

good servo(Posted on July 2, 2013) These are good servos for the price. |

great value!(Posted on June 23, 2013) I bought 6 of these servos to put in a ARF Dago Red by World Models that a friend gave me because he never found time to build it. and all six of them worked flawlessly! centers very well too. I've used many Towerpro mg90s and sg90 micro servos on electric parkflyers with no issues. this was the first purchase of a standard size servo and I was impressed with the quality and value of these servos! If you need a large standard size servo that has plenty of torque and centers well(not real fast, like for 3D) but looking for something for normal flying, hit buy on these! you will be pleased.. ! ! |

servos(Posted on June 18, 2013) Faster then I expected. Lets be truthful in most casts you get what you pay for in this case is more that what you paid for. |

Great bargain(Posted on April 25, 2013) This is a quiet servo that centers well and is good for low end uses. I have good luck with them so far. I use them in .25 size planes. |

Great standard servo.(Posted on April 5, 2013) I had a chance to try these out and I truly believe that you can not beat them for the price. Strong and quiet. Seem to work as well as any of the the other big name brands. Is a bit larger on the outside dimensions than a S3003/3004. I have them in a few planes and will order more. Give them a try, you will like them. |
