Great starter(Posted on October 16, 2015) This truck makes a great starter truck for a youngster, Parts are avaliable. The weakest spot i could see on the truck was on the back where the motor and rear drive mount to the chassis. I think it could be braced with some plastic strap or something. Its only flimsy if you grab it by the back and shake it. It does not have berrings in the front but i think they can be installed with proper mearurement. Spare battries can be purchased on Ebay.$19.99 2pcs Original Feilun FT009 RC Boat Spare Parts 7.4V 1500mAh Battery FT009-15 (2). These have the right plug and fit in the battrey tray. Oh yeah,, this thing scoots for a brushed motor, it will spin out in circles untill you let off... It will go in grass but heat might be an issue.. I bought this for a friends 9 year old son and he loves it. He has ran it for a couple months now and has not broken anything. I dont think Brushless would be a good idea in this truck, too many plastic parts and the weak point in the back. Oher than that... Great Value.. |
