Really nice biplane!(Posted on June 12, 2015) I bought this plane after visiting the Dynam Pitts Peakes forum at RCGroups.com. Value Hobby offered the best price I could find, so I ordered the red model. Assembly was easy and straightforward, the only minor issue was some warping in the horizontal stab which I flattened with some carbon fiber tube. To preserve the painted finish I coated the entire plane with Minwax Satin Finish WBPU, which protects the paint from being worn off and gives a nice sheen to the plane. I put a 4S 2200 mAh 30C battery in the nose and it flew without any trim needed. The Pitts has great power and vertical climb capabilities with the stock power setup and the recommended battery. Standard aerobatics are performed easily, and although I am not a 3D pilot, I can do knife edge passes the length of the field and hover with no problem. Value Hobby is easy to deal with and since I am local, I can pick up my purchases directly from their warehouse.
