Great value but has some flaws that should be addressed out of the box.(Posted on September 7, 2015) This is one of the best value brands in the hobby business, and this is a great truggy! Out of the box, there are a few things that need to be addressed before being ran. First the differentials are sealed but have no fluid in them; I like running with 100/500/100K Rear/Center/Front. The 17mm wheel hex nuts need thread locker on them or they will come off while running. The stock steering servo is slow and analogue, you need to be sure that your chosen ESC is compatible with analogue servos before using the stock servo. Many of the parts on this truggy are compatible with both the Basher Nitro Circus MT and the Basher Sabertooth sold by Hobbyking.com. That means there is another source of cheap replacement parts besides this sight alone. I have put about 10 runs on this truggy in multiple places, and the only parts that have needed to be replaced are 1 body mount and a spur gear. I've even launched this truggy 20 feet in the air and landed multiple times badly without breakage. This thing even handled the concrete skate park without breaking. I absolutely recommend this truggy! |
