Good receiver for small planes(Posted on August 23, 2016) The first unit I received wouldn't functionally pair with my receiver using the standard pairing technique (I didn't try other pairing techniques). Value hobby replaced it and the new item paired up perfectly the first time...not sure if that was a rare issue or not but I'll give the supplier quality a 3 star. I haven't challenged the range since I only fly in a baseball field, but I've never experienced glitches or interference despite not having ferrite rings on my ESC leads. For my foam plane installations, the wiring would have been cleaner if the servo pins were oriented along the long-axis of the receiver, rather than sticking out perpendicular, but that of course depends on your plane. |
