Excellent airplane! I love this thing! (Posted on June 1, 2016)
I love this little airplane. Mine is built completely stock with the 3S setup. I'll let the video speak for itself! https://youtu.be/3hHgpSL5QU0

Good value, fun to fly! (Posted on April 21, 2016)
This is a great little plane. If you want something simple to fly that you can have a lot of fun with then this is a good plane. It's design is a little simple but still flies well in 3D or as a bush plane!
Keep in mind the plane was designed with cost in mind, it's not perfect but if you tinker it's a great flier.

PRO
- Low cost, you can build the entire plane with electronics for the cost of just the air frame from TH
- Flies well, would recommend for a 2nd plane if wanting to get into Aerobatics
- Straight forward build if you have built EPP 3D before
- Seems to follow standard format for electronics in this size

Cons
- The EPP isn't the best quality, cost in mind it doesn't bother me
- Factory cuts are a little off, but not too bad
- Wings aren't really stiff enough, they sag a little.
- People report it's tail heavy due to placing the battery in the cabin, and the servos sitting too far back.

Biggest Con:
- The rear of the fuse is horribly loose and the tail flaps around when flying, takes away from the experience as well. This is commonly mentioned on the RCG thread. But can be corrected with stiffening.

EPP Version of the DHC2 Beaver (Posted on March 25, 2016)
I was very pleased with how it flies. It's like a Funcub that does 3d, so you won't get bored with it like you do with a Funcub.

EPP Version of the DHC2 Beaver (Posted on March 20, 2016)
I'm so pleased with this airplane, that this is now my second Acrocub build. This plane flies extremely well for high-wing, straight flying and 3D aerobatic flight. Forget about getting bored flying around and around. This Beaver is highly aerobatic, but has good manners. It is based on another brand of DHC-2 Beaver, also made of epp foam. There are differences in construction, but this and the other brand looks and flies nearly identical. With the Acrocub, you're paying $49.00 less than the name brand. My first Acrocub flies with a 3s 460mAh lipo, which balances the plane perfectly, because of the lipo's heavier weight. The motor should be around 26 to 29 grams. The center of gravity is actually 2.178" behind the leading edge of the wing, and not what the manual states. If you go with the c.g. from the manual, it'll fly well, but 3D flying won't be as easy. The paint scheme is excellent, and so much better than the eagle paint scheme of the competitor's. It's a blast to fly, and if you're tired of circle flying with Cubs and Beavers, the Acrocub will get you into 3D and aerobatics at an affordable price.

Great little acro cub(Posted on March 7, 2016)
Tricky build but straightforward, download manual for a better color instructions. I used recommend 3s power setup and will power it well but not over powered. Flies different than other value hobbies EPP planes but very acrobatic cub style plane that will knife edge great and rolls are on axis.
Will take off grass easily with foam tires and touch and goes are fun. I would recommend this plane for something different and fun.
