Reinforce firewall with 1/4" wood(Posted on April 26, 2018) On 2nd flight, the firewall broke and motor hung in front of plane, chopping away at fuselage. Valuehobby states its not their responsibility. I was able to reinforce with wood and fixed up damage to fuselage. I recommend plane as long as you reinforce it first |

Nice airplane(Posted on October 20, 2017) After being very happy with the other 3 planes I bought from VH, I decided to try this one too. The build was much simpler than the 32" planes (though they weren't that hard). Maiden flight she was pretty tail heavy using a 3s 1600 battery, 450 motor and 30 amp ESC. Put 1 oz of weight on the nose and she flys GREAT. She'll fly very slow or fast. Does some pretty awesome 3D (although I'm not a 3D pilot at all) on high rate full throws. And best of all, she takes a pretty good beating. I chose to glue my wings on. I tried the rubber bands and they allowed enough movement that the ailerons would rub the fuse. All in all, I really like this plane. She's just alot of fun to fly. |
