Awesome(Posted on October 12, 2017) I bought this plane to have fun with and boy have I. Let my grandson fly and ended up giving it to him. He loves it. It flys on rails. I put a 2212-1250kv motor on it and fly with 3s 600mah battery. I between 6 and 8 minutes of flying depending on how crazy I feel. If you want to learn or just practice 3D flying, this is a great plane. Or if you want to just putter around the yard and do some easy loops and rolls, it's great for that too. I definitely will be getting another one since my grandson has mine now. |

Great plane(Posted on September 7, 2017) I have in my hangar from Value Hobby, 39" Sbach 342, 32" 540 Slick, and 39" Edge 540. I just ordered a 32" Laser. My 18 yr. old grandson came to see me, an RC Plane newbie, and gave him a choice of 5 airplanes to choose from that he could take home and have. My Value Hobby planes plus a TechOne Venus and a TechOne Extra 330. I let him fly all 5 so he could make a good choice of which one he wanted. After flying all 5 of the planes, he choose this plane, the Value Hobby 39" 540. It is just a fun to fly good plane. He flys pretty darn good for a newbie. But the 39" 540 he flew very well. He didn't even hesitate when he made his choice. If you're a newbie I highly recommend this airplane. It will fly slow or fast. Slow so you can get the feel of flying without panicing when you crash, and you WILL crash, trust me. This is a tuff airplane. I am most likely going to get me another one in the near future. |

Awsome(Posted on June 19, 2017) Great for low and slow 3d but will still do snaps, spins, waterfalls, erc.. Great for trying new moves without risking a good plane. I used the e400 1250 10x4.5 prop and 1300 40c. Cg exactly per the manual. This plane is FUN. I didnt use the landing gear, not needed, buy extra props. |
