My previous review stated that I had not yet tried the Bubles on a three cell pack. Well that all changed today. I flew the Bubles using a three cell 350mah pack. Yes, only 350mah. The Bubles will literally climb vertical on a three cell pack. Not just 75 or 80 degrees, but a true 90 degrees straight up. It will climb to over 1000 feet in about 8 to 10 seconds. Cut the power and start thermal hunting. I was able to make this 8 second vertical climb about 10 to 12 times with the little 350mah pack. With about a three minute glide after each climb out, my first flight with a three cell pack, lasted 36 minutes. For my second flight with a three cell pack, I installed an on board altimeter recorder from Winged Shadow. Climbed for 10 seconds, cut the throttle, and glided back down. I then checked the altitude obtained in the 10 second burst. A whopping 1362 feet in altitude, over a quarter of a mile, in a mere 10 seconds. Awesome. No, make that a triple awesome.
