I'm using a 42-50 600 kV motor turning a MA 13x8 3-blade prop and 2200 mAh 4s lipos. 80 A ESC and 3A ubec. My landing gear mod is still rock solid after around 3 dozen flights off of grass and tarmac. Excellent flying model that has been a big hit w/ other club members. I like the realism of a scale aerobatic model. The 42-50 motor provides all the power one needs. Hovers at 1/2 throttle. Using recommended servos and TGY 9X radio keeps cost very reasonable. I'm ordering another today as a spare. My favorite model!
