I went electric on this plane without using that ugly motor extension, but I had to put 1/3 scale cub wheels on it, and put 4.5lbs to 5lbs of weight which was 2-6S 8000mAh Lipo's in parallel to get the CG correct that's 16000mAh, I can get over 30 minutes of flying with this setup, it's a nice plane and fly's really sweet, the control horns are really good quality too.
