I have found for boat applications:
Modify/ cut the rear of the can so that wires exit separately.
Put Teflon washers on both sides of the stater.

For 4s set ups
timing at 7.50 (I can't confirm but I think it's a D wind)
642 prop
Fast,reliable, great bearings and, best bang for your buck 30 inch hull motor

Been running same can for a year in another boat and bought this one as soon as it was back in stock.
