I've had this motor for awhile and have been running it in a VH Prime foamy. It has survived some hard crashes with no damage. I originally used the bolt-on prop adapter but after breaking several props, I changed the motor over to the prop saver configuration. I'd like to point out that the motor comes with all the extras needed to convert to a prop saver. The shaft even has flats machined in it to accommodate the provided prop saver adapter. All you have to do is remove the shaft circlip and set screw, then press the shaft through the motor until the circlip can be installed in the alternate notch already provided for you in the shaft. Then reinstall the set screw and prop adapter and you are good to go. You don't have to grind a flat in the shaft or cut it to length to secure the adapter. You can grind a second flat opposite the provided flat if you desire additional security, but I didn't and haven't had any issues.

The only beef I have with the motor is the rather fragile leads. They are just twisted winding terminations with some fairly flimsy insulation. Also, the installed bullets are 3.5mm and are too big for the leads. One of mine came loose due to a poor solder joint. I replaced them with MPJet 2.5mm bullets, my favorite for small motors.

All in all, the motor is a very good value. A very complete accessory package is included. Just check your leads and watch how you route them, then go have fun. I would definitely buy another one.
