I have had several brands of radios in my 50 years of model airplane career. Some were easy to program and some were difficult to insane because of the lack of technology at that time. Spektrum raised the bar with their ease of programming and I think it is the easiest on the market today.
The X10 will do anything you could possibly want to do if you can figure out how to do it. There are for all practical purposes no written instructions except a fold out piece of paper. There are lots of instructional videos on the internet but almost all of them assume you are going to replace the X10 operating system and install Open TX.
If you like spending untold hours on your computer trying to figure out how to program your radio then the X10 is for you. If you want to just go fly, buy something else.
