This 67in Whisper Wind airplane is a new member of X-UAV glider family. It is from durable EPO foam material. The plane has easy flying characteristics and features a powerful brushless power system. With thrust-weight ratio close to 1, this plane can fly faster if desired.
In addition, the plane features convenient designs including belly landing gear and detachable plug-in wings.

This plane flew about 7 minutes on the GForce 3s 1300 mAh with little attempt to conserve energy. A battery with different dimensions probably won't fit well in the cockpit. You could spend a couple hours or more trying to get it ready to fly. I had to install the wing servos, and attach the rods to the control surfaces after taping on the tail. You will have to use clear tape or another method to attach the horizontal stabilizer and the rudder. The control rod to the elevator only attaches to one side and their is a center plastic piece that joins them together in an attempt to have them move together, but it doesn't work very well. I didn't notice any problems while flying it though. I decided to spray paint some green stripes on the bottom to make it more visible since the bottom is mostly what you'll look at depending on how high you fly it. Overall a great plane with awesome flying characteristics. Just dial in the CG and go. The build was a little bit of a trouble. First, the control horns given are very brittle and crack. I replaced all of them. Second, the given method of securing the two elevator pieces is also flimsy and will not work. You will need to secure the two pieces with wood on both sides. Lastly, the cowl will frequently move onto the prop if not secured. If you pay attention to these things you will have a great plane! (Posted on 9/29/2014)Value Overall Quality - don't buy a radian! Screw horizon! This little glider out performs the radian in all areas. More control, better thermal performance, and the price speaks for itself. Less than half! Value for your $!
