Good product for a beginner, or kid to learn RC, and a great value for the price. Runs great on pavement, ok on grass and dirt. Gift for a kid who's been running it for about a week and two issues arose. First, running on grass overheated the motor connections which burned, so I just soldered them, second there is a small hole in the bottom of the chassis just under the main gear (water drain I expect) which allowed small rocks in to the gears and damaged the pinion and main gear. I removed the derbies form the gear train and taped the hole to prevent future issues. The vehicle still runs good with a readjustment of gear backlash and I will order some spare gears and pinion. I highly recommend taping the hole and soldering the motor connections from the start to prevent these issues, so far doing good since. Issues aside, overall a great value and runs great; where else and you get an out of the box 1/10 scale RC 4WD vehicle ready to run, battery TX and all for less than $100 bucks!!
