I bought 4 of these to try out for my 1/8 Mugen MBX6 eco running a hobby wing sct pro ESC and a Tacon 4000KV censored motor. These lip's give me 11-13 minutes of run time which is great for a 5000 mah lipo! The e buggy lite is still big and heavy and I was worried the lipos would puff and not last, but so far so good, I ve had about 5 runs in each pack.
I bought these just to use as practice packs for my 1/8 E buggy and was going to buy the SMC 6500's but they are $35 each so I am almost buying 2 packs for the price of one in going for the G force packs, I have hard that the inboard tabs were coming off with some peoples packs but I am just really careful when pulling the wires out.
I might end up buying more of these packs since mine are doing great and I never run out of batteries to use at the track! I ve also kept the shrink wrap on these batteries to further protect the casing. The wires that come with them are also of high quality as well!.
Another good thing is that I bought 4 packs and shipping was still only $3.99 for all 4!

Great battery for the money, that is all there is to say about that, you will not find a better 2s lipo pack that cost even $40-$50 or less that will go up against this pack, bought mine for $18.99 a pack and I will put them up against any $40-$50 budget lipo and you will be happy for sure......everyone In out drift club started to order them for there drift cars.....we will also drift for a bit of time and will get these packs down there...we don't hit lipo cutoff but we def. run them down getting close to it, and after charging these packs are holding and easy 5000 mah!! I bought this battery back in June 2013. I use it in my slash 2wd and xxx-sct losi trucks, mostly bashing in the desert. The battery has held up great even if it got a little hot in the summer. After 60 plus charges it is now only charging at 95-98% (I have 2 of them.) Great battery for the price. (Posted on 12/27/2014)
I just purchased my second set of these. after 7 months of hard bashing i broke(popped) one of them. these have lasted longer than my name brand batteries by far. they charge well, they discharge well, and they last well. the only other battery that i have had longer is the stock nimh battery from my slash 2wd that i got ~3 years ago. i now have 3 of theses batteries in my collection and plan on getting more. I bought 2 and am still breaking them in but these are a great value. I use them in my vintage RC10's that are running a brushed 19T motor, 17.5 brushless and 10.5 brushless. They provide a nice amount of power. I have much better Reedy and Protek packs and these do not compare to them (you should expect to get what you pay for here). They feel like 25C packs. If you're not racing and are looking for a good solid pack, try one of these out. I will most likely be buying another pair in the near future. (Posted on 2/20/2014)
I use this battery in my Sakura D3 with a 9T 3300kv HobbyWing motor. I get over an hour of run time so for the cost that's amazing. (Posted on 2/13/2014)
I have had 2 of these batteries that I run hard bashing and racing in my slash 2wd You just cant beat them for the price. I can get 2 8 minute heats running a castle sidewinder 3800 and still have plenty of juice left. Only negative thing I have is one of them I had to resolder one of the wires too. I have won several races against people that run much more expensive batteries and they just cant understand it. if you want a good cheap battery I recommend this one. (Posted on 12/30/2013)
The battery is great held up great when I was bashing and racing. The battery has lots of power and about 40 to 50 minutes of run time in my rustler. But after a while the case did seperate and the connection was broke on the inside. But value hobby did work with me to get a new one. Great job value hobby. (Posted on 10/26/2013)
these batteries are better than my duratrax batteries and the max mah i have charged these is 5555 mah. i was also surprised that they hold a charge longer than my duratrax 6400mah battery. in a 2wd slash using a castle creations sidewinder sv3 esc and 4000kv motor i got about 30-40 min of runtime and in a slash 4x4 with stock electronics i get about 20-25 min runtime. the only downside to the hardcase is that i had a case separate but it was easily fixed with duct tape. We ordered three of these batteries, loved them at first. Great runtime, plenty of power. After a month or so of running, two of them have broke the tab connecting the positive female banana jack to the actual cell inside. Higher end batteries have a circuit board connecting the tabs and jacks. If you do purchase one of these, be very careful not to stress the wires at all! Make sure you don't have any excess wire on your esc leads, keep them short as possible.
This was my first Lipo battery so I can't compare it to any others but the output is far better than Nimhs and I will never go back to Nimhs especially at the prices of Lipos at Value Hobby. Thanks VH for making the switch to brushless and Lipos affordable!! The only complaint I would have is no universal connector or choice of connectors but then again, most batteries have crappy Tamiya connectors so having Deans installed on them is a plus in the right direction. I will be definitely be buying more. (Posted on 7/30/2013)
Better deal, better quality and way more power than my 30c turnigy. Balanced out perfectly, and with my previous Lipo my lcg slash was pretty quick. Now... it is just plain fast. Great lipo... Want the higher "C" rated battery for the track! (Posted on 7/2/2013)
This battery isn't just good for the price. It's just plain good. Equal power and run times as my Turnigy 5.0. Would be nice if it came with low profile bullet connectors to make it usable in tighter battery compartments, but the money you'll save buying these batteries you can afford to make a whole pile of your own. Highly recommend this pack!! (Posted on 6/26/2013)
I am very satisfied by this battery, tons of power much more than most its size and twice the price! It showed up to me in three days and perfectly balanced at 7.64volts I would recommend this to everyone and will definitely be buying more!
Thank you value hobby! (Posted on 6/23/2013)
I bought two of these to try and they came balanced perfectly. Both batteries run extremely well and exceed my expectations for a lipo priced this low! Great battery that performs like a battery that costs twice as much.
Keep up the great work Value Hobby! (Posted on 6/11/2013)
Great batteries for the price. Bought 2 to run in my electric D8 (2 x 2s) and they work great. The price is great and the shipping was even better. Feel better than my Turnigy batteries and just as good as my Gens Ace batteries. Will definitely buy more and would recommend to anyone. (Posted on 6/3/2013)
its a great lipo for my SCX10 and gives pleanty of run time.........
however in my Slash 4x4 it lacks on power to provide the power and speed I get from my Turnigy
but for someone on a budget this is the way to go a lot better than the factory
This should not be a 25 rated battery. More like 40 plus.made my castle powered sc10 4x4 wheelie. made. 4x4. wheelie. cant believe it puts out the same power as my nano tech 50c. but, it does get warm, although it was a hot sunny day out (Posted on 5/30/2013)
I purchased 2 of these 25c 2s Lipo's and all I can say is WOW! Had I not known any better I would have thought it was a 40C Battery! 5000 mah and I ran my STRC Converted 2wd slash for at least 40 solid minutes before I hit the cutoff! Was having so much fun bashing that I actually may have been running longer! Love the removable wires and was very pleased with the deans connectors already installed! Getting ready to upgrade my sons slash to brushless also and will be purchasing many more of these batteries. Buy the way, I ran 2 full packs and absolutely no heat on battery after running! They stay nice and cool!!!
Great price and insane fast shipping.

I Purchased two of these batteries and now I wish i had ordered more. Great value, well build, and awesome performance. WIll be ordering a few more.I really like the removable wires it aids in transporting and storage. Keep up the great product design and THANK YOU!!!!!!!. (Posted on 1/1/2013)
I mainly use this battery in a Ecx Ruckus with a mild brushless setup and it does not even get above ambient temp. It is a perfect size for any kit that will take a standard 2s lipo. I have used it in my Hpi E-Firestorm that has a Castle MMP esc and 4 pole 1410 1y 3800kv motor geared 87/22. It lets that sucker rip. I cannot keep the front wheels down. It will wheely at any speed. I cannot tell the difference in performance between it and Gen Ace 40 c 2s 5000mah. The batt comes off full discharge of full throttle action barely warm. Time will tell of its longevity, but for now it is a great deal. (Posted on 10/10/2012)
I bought 2 of these and they are abosoluty amazing for the price. Will be buying 2 more because i have a Brushless E-Maxx on the way!!!! (Posted on 9/3/2012)
Bought two of these batteries running them in a a couple of brushed traxxas slashes. Performance and speed is double that of the a NiMh batteries. Couldn't be happier, will order more. (Posted on 9/1/2012)
I know not a lot will look at this battery because of it's lower C rating, but it working well in my Rustler brushless and my Stampede VXL. No signs of heat . (Posted on 8/23/2012)
