- Good motor for the money Review by Michael
-
i installed this 480 motor in the Phoenix 2000. the previous 400 motor burned the firewall. i wanted a cooler running motor and power. i wasn't disappointed. at half throttle the plane reaches high altitudes. i like flying gliders high. the motor is quiet, powerful and efficient. I check the battery after each flight and find it warm with around 70% power left. also the motor is cool to cold after each flight. i use an 11 inch folding prop (from the minimoa), 2200 3s 30c lipo battery, and 40 amp esc. i could use a 30 amp esc. i'm happy with this purchase.
