The build quality of this unit is nice, the programming is easy to learn and work with, and I like the price tag. Bad news is it has an issue with full throttle. Pull the trigger once and it works great, green light on ESC comes on indicating you're at 100% throttle. Let go of the trigger and quickly pull it again, and the ESC will not go back to full throttle, it limits itself to what I would estimate to be about 75% of full throttle. It's an absolute nightmare trying to drive this on the track, because half the time when you need that full throttle punch, it's not there.Quality Value Overall
I've emailed Hobbywing support twice and they have been worthless in helping me with the problem. I found a youtube video of another owner having the EXACT same problem, I linked Hobbywing the video but they are based in China and cannot view it. I've only driven with this ESC maybe 3 times and I'm replacing it already. You get what you pay for.... (Posted on 9/26/2012)
