Blew up on first try!(Posted on October 3, 2016) *****For the record I like Value Hobby and am not trying to discredit them.***** This board arrived in two days-Impressive! The instructions were not in the box, so to the computer I went. Downloaded some Chinglish instructions that were useless! I did lots of research online and found what matched up with the chinglish. Set up LinuxCNC like others that bought this and tried to step the Y axis and bang! Big hole in the driver chip!!!! There nees to be better documentation and normal settings for these boards. I also found out people blow the drivers a lot because the lack of documentation, I should have done my homework before buying. If you know how to use this board then this is for you if you do not stick to boards that have more documentation like the Arduino CNC shield works nice. |
