I use a FrSky X4R-SB receiver so I can get telemetry from the flight controller back to my transmitter. Telemetry does not work if you use UART1 as shown for most wiring diagrams for a KissFC. However, if you use UART3 on the bottom of the board (use the TX pad), it does work. Hook it up this way and then Delete All Sensors and Discover New Sensors on your Taranis transmitter and the telemetry from the FC will appear.
